The Panthers, who finished the regular season with a record of 51-23-8, have also been impressive in the playoffs, winning their first two series in five games and then defeating the New York Rangers in seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Stanley Cup Finals are set to begin on Wednesday, June 14th. The Oilers will have home-ice advantage for the first two games and games five and seven, if necessary.
